Craig Boone is a former NCR sniper and a recruitable companion in Fallout: New Vegas. Haunted by the loss of his wife, Carla Boone, whom he shot himself during her sale to Caesar's Legion to prevent her enslavement and torture, he joins the Courier in search of purpose and vengeance.

Boone served as a sniper for the NCR's 1st Recon unit until a tragic incident involving his wife, Carla, led him to desert. He now works as a night watchman at the Dino Dee-lite Motel in Novac, offering his services to the Courier. His personal quest, 'I Forgot to Remember to Forget,' involves tracking down the Legion slaver who bought Carla and then confronting the Legion leader at The Fort.

In Their Own Story

In 2003, Jason Marsden took on the role of Tak in the video game Tak and the Power of Juju. He continued this role through its sequels, Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, spanning from 2003 to 2005. Beyond animation, he voiced Myron in Fallout 2 (1998) and Boone in Fallout: New Vegas (2010), marking his contributions to the Fallout game series with two recruitable companion characters. He also lent his voice to Noel Kreiss in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Kade Burns and Fingers on Transformers: Rescue Bots. Marsden's versatility is evident in his role as Chase Young in Xiaolin Showdown from 2003 to 2006, and Todd Sweeney in a Christmas episode of My Life as a Teenage Robot from 2003 to 2004. In 2019, he returned to voice Bart Allen in the third season of Young Justice: Outsiders after the original series' cancellation.

Reader's Guide

Jason Marsden directed his first television episode for Nickelodeon's The Journey of Allen Strange in 1997. He has also written, produced, and edited The Greatest Short Film Ever!!! along with multiple indie music videos. From late summer 2004 to early spring 2007, he served as the head announcer for Toon Disney (excluding Jetix) while working part-time for Disney Channel. In 2014, he voiced Sumo and Belson in the pilot episode of Cartoon Network's Clarence, though these roles were later recast with Tom Kenny and Roger Craig Smith after that single episode. Marsden began producing The Mars Variety Show on YouTube in 2020, featuring indie musicians and comedians in a format inspired by The Dean Martin Show. He also made a cameo appearance as a gas station cashier in the film Fun with Dick and Jane.
